6.1.2012
- page 'mechanics' revamped (not visible to users)
All menus and the footer are now being used as an include and managed from a single file. This has been done to enable easier current and future site handling. We are aware indexing engines do not index includes but since we are not after Google rank and do not want any revenue or fame from the site and have no need for outside validation...we more or less do not care about it. Content is still in each separate file.
- some of the meta tags have been updated
- the code in all the site files is now commented for easier future or current viewing by anyone
- css file code has been separated in 'topics', using comments, for easier future or current viewing by anyone
- all links in all menus now have a title property
- added hover effects using CSS3 to all menus
- added hover effect using CSS3 to site logo picture
The CSS3 is 'latest and the greatest', a future to be standard (along with HTML5). This additions are here to make the site a bit more fun, playful and dynamic.
Known Issues:
CSS3 changes are not visible in Internet Explorer (with the exception of menu hovers that are visible but in plain old style). Some of the CSS3 futures are indeed supported in IE9 but due to some other elements on the site we are making it IE7 an 8 compatible and this makes CSS3 effects to not show in IE9. These IE issues are not expected to be gone anytime soon. If you wish to enjoy the new CSS3 futures we recommend a different browser...Firefox and or Chrome come to mind.
